- Truly, a car is not needed when you are residing at Trails Edge, and Family and Guests can come and go as they please.

Ski away and ski back on Beginner-Intermediate Double Cabins Ski Trail with Detachable Quad Ski Lift #10.
Ski right in the trail to the end of Trails Edge Lane.
Come home for Lunch when skiing. Family and guests can come and go as they please on their own, even youngsters!

Getting Around ON FOOT:
Walk across the street (Mountain Village Blvd) to access the free Gondola to Mountain Village, and Telluride Town.
The Free Gondola runs from 7AM to 11PM, or later during the frequent special events.
The Free Gondola only closes during May and October for inspections and maintenance.
Walk across the street for "Galloping Goose" Bus service at Village Market, to/from Telluride town, Society Turn, and bottom of Lift #1 (Big Billy's).
The Galloping Goose bus runs from 7AM to 9PM.

Getting Around DOOR-TO-DOOR:
Free "Dial-A-Ride" Shuttle Van Service to Mountain Village streets and homes as a Mountain Village Town resident.
Dial-A-Ride runs from 7AM to 12PM
If you must drive, each Home has a parking space or garage space for each bedroom, and the heated road means no chains permitted, no blocked roads or driveways, no noisy road clearing, no salt or sand accumulation in your yard.

<> GOING UP TO SKI:
- The Easiest and the Most Difficult ski runs on the Telluride Ski Area are quickly accessable from Trails Edge Lane. Trails Edge has Arguably the Best access in all of Telluride.
- Ski right out from Trails Edge Lane onto the Double Cabins Beginner/Intermediate Ski Run to the Detachable Quad Ski Lifts #1 or #10 for access to Beginner, or Intermediate, or Expert ski runs.
- OR Walk across the street to the Free Gondola going to Mountain Village and take the upper Free Gondola or take Detachable Quad Lift #4 to Beginner or Intermediate or Expert ski runs.
- Lift #1 serves one of the two Easiest ski runs, and it goes from "Big Billies" at the bottom up to Mountain Village.
- Lift #1 takes you to Mountain Village, where the ski school is located, as well as the Upper Gondola and Detachable Quad Lift #4 that feeds most of the mountain for skiing at all levels.
- Lift #10 is two miles long, leading to the top of the best beginner/intermediate teaching slopes in North America.
- Lift #10 at the top, takes you to Detachable Quad Lift #13 that serves the other Easiest run, with a baby terrain park with jumps and rails.
- Lift #10 to Detachable Quad Lift 13 takes you to Prospect Basin, with lift #12, a Beginner/Intermediate wonderland of ups and downs,and around and through widely spaced trees. At the top of lift #12 is a Warming hut, with restrooms, food, and beverages.
- Lift #10 is the fastest way to the very very top at Gold Hill by taking Detachable Quad Lift #13 to Prospect Basin, Detachable Quad Lift #14 to the very top.
- Lift #10 is the fastest way to the new Black Iron Bowl Expert ski runs by taking Quad Lift #13 to Prospect Basin and Quad Lift 12 that serves Prospect Basin. From the top of lift #12 is the beginning of the trail to Hike-to powdery steep open faces, Prospect Basin, and the highest in-bounds skiing in North America, a hike-to, 13,324 ft altitude thrill! Trails Edge has the easiest access to all of these places!

<> COMING HOME FROM SKIING:
Even from the very top at Gold Hill or See Forever, there are easy ways home all the way down to the Free Gondola stations or Trails Edge Lane itself, using the ski runs and trails.
Ski down to any of the Free Gondola Stations, and come back home to The Free Gondola Station right across the street from Trails Edge Lane.
Ski down Double Cabins Ski run and ski off at Trails Edge Lane. With enough speed, one can carry all the way to the Trails Edge Lane heated road.
